*SOLVED* Can't start Reboot edition

Missing executable? I've tried verifying integrity - running as admin, etc.

I've opted into the beta - but it won't start.

In case anyone else has this problem - you need to opt OUT of beta again, as I'm guessing the listed beta is an old version for the original AoA game.

So, just opt out of it - and you'll still get beta access to the Reboot edition - it's just another beta than the one in the "Properties" ;)

To start the Reboot edition, you go into steam library, lauch it there you should see a steam popup window appear with the option to play the Reboot or the Standard version.

Getting the same message. Just verified game cache, and even started the normal version of the game fine. Still can't launch reboot, missing executable.

Thanks for trying to help, but I already know how to launch Steam games ;)

I do get the option, but only the regular version will launch. The other version gives me an error message, claiming it's missing its executable.

You don't need to opt into anything. If you did some random clicking like that, remove that first. As andre said, just run from steam directly and you will get two choices.

Man, as he said (i have same problem), after one got two choices he choses run reboot and get error Maybe try to find the executable yourself in the game folder. Maybe it is just some problem with Steam not being able to link properly with game files. (there will probably be two of them so try each one until you run Reboot Beta)

Are you running English windows or in some other language? I can imagine non-English windows have such problems (incompatibilities with Steam).
