Regalia

Items at the San Francisco State University Bookstore:

• A limited amount of regalia will be available for rental from the Bookstore starting Monday, May 13 until May 24 or supplies run out.
• Honor cords will be available beginning April 15 (Proof of eligibility needed to confirm orders or purchase in-store)
• San Francisco State Custom Sash
• Stole of Gratitude
• Rental assistance program: Students can begin picking up their regalia and tickets on Wednesday, May 15.

Jostens Regalia Orders

Regalia orders placed online from Jostens by 9:59 p.m. Friday, April 12 will arrive in time for the Commencement ceremony. Regalia rented online will come with a paid return label to make sending your regalia back to Jostens easy. Please hang on to your shipping box to mail back your regalia.

Items available through the Jostens website:

• Bachelor Rental Package (includes cap, gown and tassel): $45
• Masters Rental Package (includes cap, gown, tassel and hood): $80
• Stoles will range in price: $22-$40
• Specialty tassels (bling and campus seal charm): $7 and $9
• The Stolebuilder "design your own stole": starts at $49
• Grad Packs are available. Order your regalia, stole and diploma frame and you will receive 20% off the diploma frame

Gown and Hood Returns

The cap, tassel and stole are yours to keep!

Please return your rental gown (Bachelors and Masters) and rental hood (Masters Only) one of two ways:

1. If you ordered online use the provided return label located in your regalia package. Drop off your regalia at any UPS location by May 31, 2024
2. Drop off at the SF State Bookstore beginning Saturday, May 25. The bookstore will be closed Sunday, May 26 and Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day, but will be open Tuesday-Friday, May 28-31. You have until May 31 to return your gown to the bookstore

All gowns and hoods are barcoded and will be inventoried at the time of return. If items are not returned, they will be considered lost, and you will be charged according to the prices listed below:

• Bachelors gown non-return fee: $250
• Masters gown non-return fee: $275
• Masters hood non-return Fee: $125
